Anger, sadness, and Outrage!! Events...... Friends NO MORE

As I sit and write this now, I am crying, am hurting inside, and am so sad and outraged over what happened to me outside just about an hour ago.  I was sitting outside with so called friends and was told I have no right to care about the Ground Zero mosque because I don't live in NYC.  Plus, they accused me of not having a good job and said because I didn't earn a certain amount of money I had no right to care about certain things that are happening in America today.  *Sniff* *crying*  I am so angered and fuming upset that they told me that I don't have a right to be passionate about politics and goings on in our culture or society.  This is outrageous!! I am so pissed!!  They are a bunch of liberal Commies!!! As of now, Kevin and I are refusing to associate with them until I get an apology from them. And, now of course I have lost what seemed to be some good friendships. So sad....

I really need some humor or funnies sent my way.  Something to make me laugh would be much appreciated. Thanks.

A mature lady gets pulled over for speeding...

Older Woman: Is there a problem, Officer?
Officer: Ma'am, you were speeding.

Older Woman: Oh, I see.
Officer: Can I see your license please?

Older Woman: I'd give it to you but I don't have one.
Officer: Don't have one?

Older Woman: Lost it, 4 years ago for drunk driving.
Officer: I see...Can I see your vehicle registration papers please.

Older Woman: I can't do that.
Officer: Why not?

Older Woman: I stole this car.
Officer: Stole it?

Older Woman: Yes, and I killed and hacked up the owner.
Officer: You what?
Older Woman: His body parts are in plastic bags in the trunk

The Officer looks at the woman and slowly backs away to his car and calls for back up. Within minutes 5 police cars circle the car. A senior officer slowly approaches the car, clasping his half drawn gun.

Officer 2: Ma'am, could you step out of your vehicle please! The woman steps out of her vehicle.
Older woman: Is there a problem sir?

Officer 2: One of my officers told me that you have stolen this car and murdered the owner.
Older Woman: Murdered the owner?

Officer 2: Yes, could you please open the trunk of your car, please.
Older Woman: The woman opens the trunk, revealing nothing but an empty trunk.

Officer 2: Is this your car, ma'am?
Older Woman: Yes, here are the registration papers.
The officer is quite stunned.

Officer 2: One of my officers claims that you do not have a driving license.

The woman digs into her handbag and pulls out a clutch purse
and hands it to the officer.

The officer examines the license. He looks quite puzzled.

Officer 2: Thank you ma'am, one of my officers told me you didn't have a license, that you stole this car, then you murdered and hacked up the owner.

Older Woman: I'll bet the big liar told you I was speeding, too.

Ahhhh, Teresa, if it wasn't so late I'd call you, but I'm just reading this.
Don't let the nasty "so called" friends get you down.
Those things they said were SO STUPID, IGNORANT and down right mean and clueless.....if these were supposed "friends" I'd hate to see enemies.

I wish I knew a funny joke to tell you, but I'm bad at remembering those things. I'l just say, buck up, little buttercup, and don't let those meanies make you sad. Just smile, hold your head high, and ignore them.

If you do become friendly with them again, watch your back. It's obvious they weren't as good friends as you thought they were. These times bring that fact out of the woodwork lately, I know.

Look at some of the funny kitty video's over my way and you'll cheer up. Take Care, sweetie.

Hugs to you. Their brains are a little twisted there. What they said makes no sense at all. You have plenty of friends here in blogosphere.

An old friend of mine and I had this very talk last night.

I asked, "would you still like me if I was a liberal lunatic?"

They said no, because I wouldn't be me, and I would be an idiot. They asked me the same question and I had to give the same answer.

I'm so sorry, T. These are strange times.

Remember, Benjamin Franklin's OWN SON was jailed for supporting the British. He remained loyal to the crown, to his father's shame and sadness.

You are not alone. (((hugs)))

Amusing Bunni, Supi, Opie, and Odie,

Thank you, my friends, so much for your kind, thoughtful, and comforting words.

I just returned from the 9/12 March in DC and I had the pleasure of meeting some very nice conservatives while attending the event. I thank God every day for you, my friends in the blogosphere, and those other conservatives that I continue to meet at the different events.

God Bless You All!!

You hang in there T. I know it's hard to believe, but some people can't be convinced and some are bullies about it and their PC, which is all you experienced. They do owe you an apology and to admit they were eaten up by the PC.
Not friends, acquaintances.

Just my not-so-humble opinion.

Hey, you got to go to 912. I'd give up 2 of my REAL friends for that. lol OK, I'd tell them they were "real" :)
Cheers, T!

mnrobot,

Thanks so much for stopping by to cheer me up.

Let's just say events got heated mid-week, but now I am moving on, looking for new friends who my hubby and I can enjoy hanging out with from time to time.

You have a great weekend, Robot :)

I apologize for not visiting as often as I should, T. I am also just now numbly awakening to your second place here. Nice. Will you be blogging at both or moving to one or the other?

mnrobot,

No apology necessary. I am sorry that I haven't been visiting yours and others blogs as often as before but with me working again life has been crazy. Thank you for your compliment.

Your gonna laugh. I have three blogs but one is under a different avatar. Teresamerica is primarily my political blog while Ponderings was supposed to be my Theological blog but now it is sort of a mix of everything. I just started my Tu Ne Cede blog (there is a link on sidebar of Teresamerica) about 2 months ago and that is my Theological blog (for the most part - some political - sometimes Catholicism and politics intertwine though) and am much happier the way I set up the blog moreso than my Hippo blog.

No kidding besides - that is awful - I care about the mosque too!

Hoping you feel better.
